Booking & Cancellation

We're excited to work with you and want everything to go smoothly, so here's what to expect when you book a shoot or service with Lofoten Weddings.

Booking & Payments

To confirm your booking, we require a 30% deposit.
The remaining 70% is due 7 days before the scheduled photoshoot or service.

If payment isn’t completed by then, we reserve the right to cancel your booking unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation by You

  • Cancel 21+ days before the photoshoot → Full refund of the deposit

  • Cancel less than 21 days beforeDeposit is non-refundable
    (But if something unexpected happens, let’s talk — we’ll try to find a solution.)

Cancellation or Rescheduling Due to Weather

Lofoten is wild, beautiful, and unpredictable — and that’s exactly what makes it so magical.
We don’t expect 25°C and sunshine (and honestly, we don’t want it!). The best photos often come from soft light, dramatic skies, wind in your hair, and a little bit of mist.

Because weather is such a natural part of the Lofoten experience, sessions will go ahead in all but truly dangerous or impossible conditions (for example: storms, road closures, or travel disruptions).

If the weather makes shooting unsafe or logistically impossible, we’ll always do our best to reschedule your session for another available time or date.

However, please note that refunds are not provided due to weather, as preparation and time are dedicated to your booking regardless of the conditions.

We’ll always aim to make the most of what the day brings — Lofoten’s moods are part of its magic.
